The Earth Hour movement was founded by the World Wild Fund (WWF) in Sydney in 2007 to show love and care of the planet we call home. Participants of this movement are encouraged to keep non-essential lights off at home or at work for one hour starting at 8:30 PM on the last Saturday in March. It has become one of the largest and most well-known environmental protection movements joined by people and over 18,000 landmark architectures from 192 countries and regions. HOPAX never lags behind in joining such a meaningful international movement. We joined the “Earth Hour 60+” this year sponsored by O’right in Taiwan and turned off non-essential lights at our facilities from 8:30 to 9:30 PM on March 26th. Our employees also posted posters, articles, and photos of their participation on social media to promote this movement and the awareness of environmental protection.
