Paper-making Experience Camp

2019-11-19

When the HOPAX Culture and Arts Foundation invited us to help with the “Paper-making Experience Camp” held at the Kaohsiung Main Public Library, we all agreed in a heartbeat. Because of this opportunity, I set foot in the largest library in Kaohsiung for the first time. I was really amazed by its architecture, interior space design and collection of books. The library is also a venue for different kinds of educational activities, including the “Paper-making Experience Camp”, part of a series of educational activities for children held jointly by Chung Hwa Pulp Corp. and the Association of Parent-participating Education in Taiwan. All the children in the camp were excited to lay their hands on squashy pulp and make paper from the pulp for the first time. It was really a fun and meaningful activity and I can’t wait to join more activities like it in the future.
