Every year, HOPAX International organizes a "Little Chemistry Camp" for the children of employees during the summer vacation. Originally, it was a camp held annually for the children of employees during the summer break. Since last summer, we have expanded our horizons and collaborated with the Children's Art Museum for two consecutive years to host a summer camp, allowing children in Kaohsiung to explore the wonders of chemistry.
Leading the children out of the Dafa Industrial Zone, we venture to the Kaohsiung City Art Museum, which boasts rich natural ecology. The camp includes activities such as the Museum's Little Curator Experience Camp and the Children's Art Museum's Children's Creation Camp. In addition to emphasizing deep artistic and cultural engagement and a hands-on approach, the program features interdisciplinary aesthetics covering ecology, science, chemistry, machinery, design, and fashion. Through the summer camp activities, children can experience thinking and exploration in various fields.
In this year's "FUN Wind, FUN Flight ~ Children's Creation Camp," we guide the children through simple and enjoyable chemistry experiments, demonstrating the principles of cloud formation by rapidly condensing water vapor in containers. They create clouds in bottles, gaining an understanding of the cyclical nature of water in the natural environment.
