Tseng Yu-chien is the holder of the highest honor among Taiwan’s violinists—he won the silver medal at the age of 21 in the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015, the highest prize in the violin competition since there was no gold medalist that year. On May 6th, 2007, he was invited by HOPAX to give a solo violin concert at the DaFa Plant. On August 7th this year, Tseng visited the Da-Fa Plant again and had a dialogue with President Kuo and HOPAX’s employees in the “HOPAX Celebrity Talk” activity. The talk started with Mr. Tseng giving a LP record of his performance as a gift to President Kuo. Then he and his mother gave a recount of how he became a violinist and how the whole family provided support despite all the challenges. It was a heart-touching and inspiring talk!
